Podcast for So Many Different Religions, Why Can’t We Have Just One?

Why Does Man Create Different Religions?

Why are there so many different religions in the world today when there is only one true God? Why is it that when man touches something he has to corrupt it and claim it for himself? Was God meant to be incorporated? I really don’t think so, but many others do.

Many people believe in Jesus and know that He did exist here on earth. Some believe that He is the Son of God that came here to teach us about God and His kingdom. Jesus never claimed God for Himself, He spoke about a loving God that wants to give everlasting eternal life to us. He spoke of a God that will bless us beyond our imagination and all we have to do is love God back and to love one another.

Jesus never spoke about starting different religions, especially ones that go out and kill innocent people in the name of God. Jesus said to “love your enemy”. For those that don’t believe that Jesus is the Son of God, they can’t say that He wasn’t a peaceful, loving man. Jesus was a man who laid down His life for His fellowman and to bring glory to God. What an act of love.

There are many writings of His ministry, what He preached about, what He taught, how He lived and how He was executed. It is written that He rose from the dead an ascended to heaven. Then He returned to His disciples to prove that He was the Son of God. He gave His disciples instructions to carry on the message that He preached when He was here.

I don’t recall seeing it written that He told them to start different religions, do you? As a matter of fact, James wrote that there is only one true religion in the eyes of God and that is, ‘To love one another and be uncontaminated from the world’. Love one another means to love everyone and help your fellowman, coming to their aid, and to treat them as you would want to be treated.

As you well know that no religion is without its flaws. There have been a lot of different religions that have done some evil things, have produced evil people from within and these people have done a lot of damage to their religion. These people not only include the clergy or those that are in charge, but members as well. They claim to believe in God and that their God is the true God, yet they commit evil acts and show their hatred towards their fellowman.

James said in chapter 3:6, ‘Among all the parts of the body, the tongue is a whole wicked world in itself.’ If anyone is going to try and convert someone to worship their God, then you would think that they would show others just how wonderful and loving their God is by being kind and showing their love for their fellowman. Be respectful towards your fellowman no matter what they believe, who they worship or how they worship.

It’s not important as to what denomination of religion that one belongs to, it’s where their heart is. Smile, be kind to all your fellowmen and show them that the love of God is within you by your kindness and the words that you speak. May God’s Blessings Rain Down Upon You

Why Do You Hate Me My Brothers and Sisters?

Why Do You Hate Me My Brothers and Sisters Podcast

What Can We Do To Change Ourselves and The Way We See Things?

Hate Is That Darkness Of Our Pride

This is a common question some people may ask themselves or just out right in the open like a rap song my daughter showed me. Some people see hate that is directed towards them whether it is because of race, culture, beliefs in religion, a disability, over-weight or just an average Joe that people pick on because they may be different and so they ask, “Why do you hate me?”

What Is Hate?

Hate is a very powerful emotion, so powerful that it can cause someone’s feelings to be hurt all the way up to rioting, genocide, terrorism and war. Hate is the opposite of love and hate can come in many different forms like mocking someone, putting someone down, talking ill will about someone behind their back, being spiteful, laughing at someone when they are down, resentments, anger, violence, cruelty, having it in for someone, informing on people, pointing out bad traits about people and the list goes on and on.

All of this comes from a person’s pride. All it takes is for someone to be affected by another’s looks, actions, the way they live, work or even their skin color to spark that darkness of hate that comes from a person’s pride. A person’s pride is touched when they see or hear something that they disagree with.

We all have this pilot light inside of us that lights the burner when something we see as negative begins to ire us. Our imagination starts to go to work and we start to picture and dream up all these negative thoughts and these thoughts start to burn inside of us causing us to get upset or feel anger. We can either keep these feelings and thoughts inside of us until we decide to calm down or we can exhaust them in a hateful way. Either way they do damage to us or others.

A Very Unhealthy Emotion

When the calmness that we all like to feel inside of us begins to stir, we start to become stressed. Stress has an affect on every part of our body, mind and soul. It has an affect on our heart, blood pressure, and immune system, it can cause headaches, fatigue, back pain and upset your digestive system, just as well as our moods. We can suffer from anxiety, irritability, inability to sleep well which causes us to be cranky and not being able to perform to our full potental. These are just a few things that people can experience when they practice hate.

Why Hate and Not Love?

What is it that causes us to think, talk and act in a destructive way? Why can’t we just be happy and love one another for who they are, what they are and how they may act? Love can change people and the world. It seems that we just let our pride get the best of us like putting the blame on others for everything.

We can take control of our happiness by looking for the positive things in people and trying to bring out the good in our brothers and sisters. It all begins with us as an individual whether you are the first one to say hello, or smile or maybe even overlook someone else’s faults. Don’t forget, we are not perfect and we do have our own faults that we need to work on. We should never have another person ask us, “Why do you hate me”.

Is It Harder To Love or Hate?

It does take work to overcome our way of thinking and how we perceive things and this could be why it is easier to look at things and people in a negative way. I admit that it is much harder to be positive than it is to be negative, it’s our pride, it’s the way we are, but we have help to make it easier to overcome the darkness that plagues.

Our help is just waiting for us to call on them and they are God, Jesus Christ and The Holy Spirit, but in order for them to help us, we have to make the first move. God gave us free will to choose what we want and how we want to be. What is your choice going to be?

Love One Another

Love One Another Podcast

Be Kind and Helpful To One Another

One of the biggest issues that plagues man is racism. Racism comes from man’s pride, same with any type of hate or sin. Pride is the darkness that lies within man. It is anchored in man like roots on a tree. Sin grows from pride just like the branches on a tree.

Mankind can destroy himself because of pride. Here are just some of the darkness that man can bring forth, using God’s name in vain, anger, lust, crime, greed, jealousy, wars, murder, violence, mockery, hate, and gossip. If we want to be righteous in the eyes of God, then we have to overcome the darkness that lies within us and “Love One Another”.

To love the way that God intended for us to love, we need to get rid of any and all hate. Why are we so prejudice when we see another person with different color skin? We seem to form an opinion about that person when we don’t even know who they are. Just because we see some people from one race do something that we don’t like, we label them all as being that way.

I takes a lot of work to overcome this, but it’s something that we must do. Once we change our ways and start to “Love One Another”, we can change others just by expressing our love towards them by being nice, kind, compassionate and by helping others out when we can. No one is perfect and we have to remember that.

Changing the way of the world begins with you. You can touch others around you just by expressing your love by just greeting someone with a smile, help someone instead of turning away because you can’t be bothered, encourage someone with kind words. What would the world be like if everyone looked out for each other? It would be one beautiful place and it would be minus the hate.

When a nation works together and it practices moral behavior and it is solid in family structure, God then will bless that nation with prosperity, just like He blessed the United States, England and Israel once. Countries once feared these three nations, but not anymore. Do you know why it is so hard for these nations to turn back to God? One word, “Pride”.

The United States is a nation with so many different cultures and races. The combination of people living together in one country is amazing, but it seems like there is a wedge that is driven in to split each race apart from each other. Why is this? Why can’t we live together in peace and harmony, especially when we have so much that we can share to each other.

One thing the United States has going for it and that is freedom of religion. It’s the one thing that makes this country great. Anyone that doesn’t respect another person’s belief is practicing hate. We do not have the right to put down, mock or persecute someone for their beliefs, unless of course they are breaking the law, but you know what I mean. Through out time people have killed others because they didn’t practice someone else’s belief. That is not what God teaches, God teaches us to “Love One Another”.

For many years people have tortured and killed others all in the name of God. From what I understand about God, did He not tell us not to kill? One of God’s commandments is that we are not to take His name in vain. Seems to me that there are a lot of people that don’t understand this commandment. Why would anyone want to worship a god that teaches it’s people to torture and kill others if they don’t practice their beliefs? The God I know doesn’t teach this.

Wouldn’t you think that if you want to tell others about God, then you would act like a loving, caring, kind and compassionate person? Don’t you think that this would be a better plan to bring people to God?

When a person sees another acting like a righteous person because that person is gentle, good, patient, joyful, peaceful and practices self-control, don’t you think that that would be enough to influence that person to find out what this God is all about? It should be enough for them to want to get to know this God so that they can be happy and free as well.

Unfortunately there are people who are attracted to evil. The ones that are self-indulgent and practice: sexual irresponsibility, fornication, sorcery, gross indecency, idolatry, drunkenness, factions, jealousy, greed and have bad tempers. Why do they do this? “Pride”

None of us are perfect, but we can get a good head start if only we would put aside our pride. Imagine the blessings that God would bestow upon us if we would just “Love One Another”. Why is it so hard?
God Bless You All
