Putting Our Hope For Change In God Instead Of Man

When things aren’t going right we hope for a change, but it’s where we put our hope that matters. We can put our hope in man or God, one is wrong and one is right. Which one do you choose?

Many people don’t understand the nature of God or what this world once was before the fall of man. Many have become accustomed to living their life without the help of God and this goes for some of those that do believe in God.

God will not intervine in someone else’s life unless they ask Him for help, this is what free will is all about. Man has the freedom to make his own choices and place his hope in whatever he wants to. If he places it in people, places or things, he can be disappointed with the outcome. Usually when their is a bad outcome their life can get much worse and it may take months or even years to undo the change.

This is why it is so important to place your hope in God. God is infallible, He knows what is best for us and He will always be looking out for our welfare, after all He did create us and the universe. Man can be corrupt and usually they will be looking out for their own welfare, for example, big banks, credit card companies, corporations, insurance agencies, politicians and the list can go on and on.

I have made many mistakes in my life because of poor decisions and placing my hopes in things that I chose. I failed to go to the main source that would help me make the right choices and that source would be God. Ever since I decided to give my will over to Him and accept His will, my life has been managable and stress free. We should all try and live a simple life without all the baggage and burdens that this world loads us down with.

Free yourself from the burdens of this world and place your hope in God. As you can see by the shape of the world, putting your hope or faith in man is useless. May God Bless You and Trust God not man.

God Gave Us Free Will

God Gave Us Free Will | Podcast

God gave us free will to chose to love Him or rebel against Him. What it means to rebel against God is to basically give in to our pride and choose the things that are an abomination to God. When we choose our will over God’s will we travel on the road to self-destruction that leads us into the darkness, but when we choose God’s will we travel on the road that leads us into the Light which is eternal life and true peace which can only be found in God’s love.

God loves us so much that He does everything He can to help us overcome our destructive ways. Besides the love that He gives us and His mercy, grace and how He is so patient with us, He sent His Son Jesus Christ to teach us, to show us the way back to God. Jesus did the will of God and was beaten, scouraged, humiliated and nailed to a cross all for our sake. This is how much God and Jesus Christ loves us, yet many reject them and choose their carnal self over eternal life. The world can only offer temporary happiness along with the misery that comes with it. God offers peace, love and freedom from the bondages of this passing world. Your choice: peace, happiness and life or the world and death.

Gods Will and How Do We Know What it Is?

Revelation 20: 13-15, ‘And the sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and hell gave up their dead that were in them; and they were judged every one according to their works. And hell and death were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life, was cast into the lake of fire.’

Revelation 21: 8, ‘But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, they shall have their portion in the lake burning with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.’ Read more

God is Love, Not a Cruel God

There are people out there that think God is a cruel God. That just isn’t so. Some like to refer back to the days of Noah and Noah’s Ark, when God flooded the world. Because children had perished in this flood and God did not save them, they say God is a murderer. How can this be? Did not God tell Noah what to do to be spared from the flood? Did not Noah warn the people for many years of a coming flood?

All these people did was laugh at him and mock him. These people failed to take heed to his warning. They were acting foolishly out of their own pride. Many of these people had families, yet they chose not to secure the safety of their family. Read more

The Free Will That God Gave Us

Which means that man can choose to do whatever he/she wants to do with their life. We make hundreds of choices a day. We can choose to believe in God and do the Will of God or not. We can choose to do right or wrong such as, what to eat, how to dress, what to say, where to go, how to live, who or what to worship, etc., etc. Every choice we make has an impact on ourselves, other people, the world and even the universe.

We can use a piano as a good example as to what happens when we are negative or positive. If a piano is out of tune it won’t be in harmony, you strike a key and it sends out waves that are broken up and disruptive, not in tune with anything. If the piano is in tune it will send out beautiful waves that are balanced and not disruptive. Read more
