Be Kind and Helpful To One Another

One of the biggest issues that plagues man is racism. Racism comes from man’s pride, same with any type of hate or sin. Pride is the darkness that lies within man. It is anchored in man like roots on a tree. Sin grows from pride just like the branches on a tree.

Mankind can destroy himself because of pride. Here are just some of the darkness that man can bring forth, using God’s name in vain, anger, lust, crime, greed, jealousy, wars, murder, violence, mockery, hate, and gossip. If we want to be righteous in the eyes of God, then we have to overcome the darkness that lies within us and “Love One Another”.

To love the way that God intended for us to love, we need to get rid of any and all hate. Why are we so prejudice when we see another person with different color skin? We seem to form an opinion about that person when we don’t even know who they are. Just because we see some people from one race do something that we don’t like, we label them all as being that way.

I takes a lot of work to overcome this, but it’s something that we must do. Once we change our ways and start to “Love One Another”, we can change others just by expressing our love towards them by being nice, kind, compassionate and by helping others out when we can. No one is perfect and we have to remember that.

Changing the way of the world begins with you. You can touch others around you just by expressing your love by just greeting someone with a smile, help someone instead of turning away because you can’t be bothered, encourage someone with kind words. What would the world be like if everyone looked out for each other? It would be one beautiful place and it would be minus the hate.

When a nation works together and it practices moral behavior and it is solid in family structure, God then will bless that nation with prosperity, just like He blessed the United States, England and Israel once. Countries once feared these three nations, but not anymore. Do you know why it is so hard for these nations to turn back to God? One word, “Pride”.

The United States is a nation with so many different cultures and races. The combination of people living together in one country is amazing, but it seems like there is a wedge that is driven in to split each race apart from each other. Why is this? Why can’t we live together in peace and harmony, especially when we have so much that we can share to each other.

One thing the United States has going for it and that is freedom of religion. It’s the one thing that makes this country great. Anyone that doesn’t respect another person’s belief is practicing hate. We do not have the right to put down, mock or persecute someone for their beliefs, unless of course they are breaking the law, but you know what I mean. Through out time people have killed others because they didn’t practice someone else’s belief. That is not what God teaches, God teaches us to “Love One Another”.

For many years people have tortured and killed others all in the name of God. From what I understand about God, did He not tell us not to kill? One of God’s commandments is that we are not to take His name in vain. Seems to me that there are a lot of people that don’t understand this commandment. Why would anyone want to worship a god that teaches it’s people to torture and kill others if they don’t practice their beliefs? The God I know doesn’t teach this.

Wouldn’t you think that if you want to tell others about God, then you would act like a loving, caring, kind and compassionate person? Don’t you think that this would be a better plan to bring people to God?

When a person sees another acting like a righteous person because that person is gentle, good, patient, joyful, peaceful and practices self-control, don’t you think that that would be enough to influence that person to find out what this God is all about? It should be enough for them to want to get to know this God so that they can be happy and free as well.

Unfortunately there are people who are attracted to evil. The ones that are self-indulgent and practice: sexual irresponsibility, fornication, sorcery, gross indecency, idolatry, drunkenness, factions, jealousy, greed and have bad tempers. Why do they do this? “Pride”

None of us are perfect, but we can get a good head start if only we would put aside our pride. Imagine the blessings that God would bestow upon us if we would just “Love One Another”. Why is it so hard?

The World Is Gradually Slipping Into The Darkness

As I look back over the past decades, I noticed a dangerous trend that has swept the United States and other countries by storm. So, what is this trend? The de-sensitizing of our moral values. If you have lived long enough, you should be able to see the trend that has taken place over time. The things that were once immoral, shocking, perverted and gross seems to have little effect on most people, because over time these things have been introduced to us very slowly. This way the shock is minor and it does not have a lasting effect.

Let’s start with the movie industry. Compare movies that were made in each decade starting with the 40′s. The most you ever saw inthe movies back then was a kissing scene and they had to be careful about how that was portrayed. When it came to violence, the most I ever saw was a fist fight or a shootout unless it is a fact based reenactment. No getting naked and hopping in the sack or sex where ever you can do it. The sad thing about sex today is people barely even know each other. Over the years, they introduced more and more brazen scenes to keep the shock level down and the public quiet.

The content of what we see in the movies today compared to years ago is incredible. What was rated “R” in the seventies is now rated “PG”. What was once rated “XXX” is now rated “X” or they give it a “NR” and say it’s adult content. Mostly on the pay channels which kids have access to. If parents don’t block these channels, their kids will be able to see these movies. This alone will desensitize anyones moral values.

Pornography is out of control. It’s all over the internet and tons of it for free. Anyone can access it. There is virtually no way for parents to stop their kids from viewing the porn that’s on the net. Some parents might use the “parental control” feature that comes with computers, but it doesn’t stop them from viewing porn at their friends house or other such places. Not all parents restrict their kids computers by using this service.

Pornography can be as addictive as drugs, people get stimulated from viewing it just as drugs would. Curiosity is the basis behind it, you start looking at mild porn and proceed from there to who knows what. Pretty soon that’s all you start thinking about. You can’t wait till you get back on the computer to view some more and more and more. It’s certainly not healthy to be addicted to anything, they all have there downsides.

We have Adult Bookstores, porno on TV, sex toy stores on the web, sex in TV shows and there is one item that is really disturbing, “Costumes”. They sell or rent costumes for women so they can dress up to look just like a little girl. Now how sick and perverted is that? You might say it’s just role playing, but is it?

A wife dresses up to look like a little girl, now she just transformed herself to be someone different in the eyes of her husband. Her husband is no longer looking at her as the woman he’s married to and in love with, but what is going on in his mind is that he’s looking at a little girl. The husband is now going to engage into an act of adultery and something that is perverted. The husband is going to be solely focused on playing out his fantasy and not focusing so much on his wife. This is not the way God intended marriage and sex to be.

It’s one thing for us to limit relationships by age, like a man/woman over 18 can’t have a relationship with a boy/girl under the age of 18. Yet we constantly fuel the appetite for sexual relationships outside the norm. There are TV shows like “The Cougar”, pornography that’s loaded with older men having sex with teens, incest, older women with younger boys, one woman with multiple men, animal sex, homosexuality and so on. It just doesn’t end.

Teens are having sex before puberty. STD’S are spreading at an alarming rate with teens. Teenage pregnancy that leads to abortions and even multiple abortions are on an upward climb. There are women also who have had more than eight abortions. It’s just another form of birth control in this country and other countries such as England. So where does it all end? Unfortunately it won’t until the time comes when God says enough is enough.
