How Do We Recognize an Antichrist?

People have come up with all different figures that they believe will be the Antichrist. There is only one problem, there are more than one Antichrist. The word “Antichrist” is only mentioned in the Bible five times, one of those times it is pluralized. What we need to look out for are those that deny Jesus Christ and those that speak strange doctrines.

So how do you know when someone is preaching untruth? There is only one way to recognize whether or not someone is preaching or teaching truth and that is by seeking for the truth yourself in Jesus Christ. Jesus said in John 14:6, “I am the Way, the Truth and the Life.” Jesus will teach anyone truth if they would seek it through Him. Also, as one grows in faith and purifies themselves, they will receive the gift of discernment.

There will be no excuses for those that stand before God and can’t explain why they don’t know truth. The big question that people have to ask themselves is, “Am I being deceived?” Many do not know because they rely on others to teach them truth. They believe every word that is told to them. Ask yourself this, “How do I know if the Bible is true?” Have you ever thought about it?

The only way to know if what’s in the Bible is true, is to find out for yourself by proving it, by working the scriptures and proving God’s promises to be true. This is what God wants you to do. He doesn’t want you to trust in man, He wants you to trust in Him, His Son Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit.

There is even a bigger deceiver coming and many, many people are going to be caught up and taken away by him before Jesus Christ returns. He will be the ultimate Antichrist. Are you going to know him? Do you know if there are any Antichrists amongst you now?

Here are the scriptures where the word “Antichrist” appears:

1John 2:18-23, Children, these are the last days; you were told that an Antichrist must come, and now several antichrists have already appeared; we know from this that these are the last days. Those rivals of Christ came out of our own number, but they had never really belonged; if they had belonged, they would have stayed with us; but they left us, to prove that not one of them ever belonged to us.

But you have been anointed by the Holy One, and have all received the knowledge. It is not that you do not know the truth that I am writing to you but rather because you know it already and know that no lie can come from the truth. The man that denies that Jesus is the Christ, he is the liar, he is Antichrist; and he is denying the Father as well as the Son, because no one who has the Father can deny the Son, and to acknowledge the Son is to have the Father as well.

1John 4:2,3 – You can tell the spirits that come from God by this: every spirit which acknowledges that Jesus the Christ has come in the flesh is from God; but any spirit which will not say this of Jesus is not from God, but is the spirit of Antichrist whose coming you were warned about.

2John 7, There are many deceivers about in the world, refusing to admit that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh. They are the Deceiver; they are the Antichrist.

May God Bless You and be with you always.

Keep Your Eyes On God

Podcast for Keep Your Eyes On God

With all that is going on in the world and especially the United States it’s important that you keep your eyes on God. We should do this on a daily basis anyway, but as the time of this age comes closer and closer to ending, it’s going to get harder for mankind. Man seems to be ignoring what is actually happening around them and the world. Man is not preparing himself to endure the worst times that man has ever seen.

Do people think that things are going to get better? If they do, it’s deception of one’s mind. Anyone can create a fantasy with a little imagination, but it doesn’t last. There is only one true reality and it is with God. The false reality of this world is only temporary. It is one filled with false hopes, lies and temporary peace and happiness.

The United States alone probably has about two years left (if that) before it collapses because it can’t continue to run on debt. This country, the corporations, big banks and the people are all addicted to debt in America. It’s about trying to keep a standard of living based on materialism and all the pleasures of the flesh. With all this debt, it’s impossible to avoid a total economic collapse in the United States.

Man fails to listen to God and how God tells us the way that we need to live to ensure prosperity, peace, freedom and security. Man is corrupt in his own nature, that is why God gives us a plan, He also gives us plenty of warnings telling us what will happen if we don’t follow His way.

God is not in anyway forcing us to live His way, He gave us free will to make our own choices. He knows that man is not capable of governing himself alone. That’s why we need to keep our eyes on God.

God told us how to keep famine, plagues, diseases, invasions from our enemies at bay, but for thousands of years man still continues to not listen to God. He told us how to farm, not to build one house on another and so on. He warned about having a ruler and what would happen (Read this article: Samuel). Why does man always insist on trying to do it his way when it only leads to failure?

Man is going to go through some times that no one has ever seen before, this is what it’s going to take before man realizes that it’s all about God and not himself. These times are not that far off, but many still cannot see the signs. They are blinded by their pride, their own deceptive mind. Even those that believe in God are blind because they listen to the untruth of man, they govern their own mind instead of receiving the Spirit of Truth that Jesus has to offer them (John 14:15-17).

We cannot seek find truth on our own or from man, it takes building a one on one relationship with Jesus Christ. Without Him, you cannot purify yourself to receive the Holy Spirit. It takes repentance, overcoming our defects, confession, the ability to be righteous in the eyes of God.

Call on Jesus and follow Him, don’t follow yourself. Travel the long and narrow road with our Lord Jesus Christ and and set your eyes on God. You will need God to protect you and help you during these tough times, so don’t wait til it’s too late.

Who Is God?

Who Is God? Podcast

The Ten Commandments

Don’t Prejudge God

People have different opinions on who is God and the ones that say that God is cruel will go to the Old Testament and cite passages about when God flooded the world and all those innocent children were drowned or when He had the Israelites conquer nations and kill everyone in those nations and destroy all their idols. God has a purpose for everything that He does, you just have to look for it. Who is God? He is pure love.

Before God flooded the world He gave people fare warning and I would say in the tune of about 125 years, I think that would be considered fair warning. One thing about God is that He will not intervene into someone’s life unless He is asked to. When it comes to the children dying in the flood, Noah could not go out and kidnap all the children, the people or parents would have killed him. The parents are the ones responsible for their child’s safety and so they chose not to secure their own children’s lives.

God gave us free will and these people chose to reject God’s warning and people continue to reject God to this day. So if a person dies and winds up in an unpleasant place, is that God’s fault? No, because God gave man free will to choose his own destiny. God is fair, patient and just, He gives man every opportunity to save himself from himself.

The other part about God sending the Israelites to destroy specific nations was because these nations were evil and had to be eliminated. God did not play favorites either, He brought nations in to destroy the Israelites as well when they rebelled against God and God gave them plenty of warning by way of the prophets. All through history there have been many nations that raided villages and murdered the people of the villages.

For example, take Germany and Japan in World War II, do you think it was wrong for the United States and the other nations to go in and defeat them? They were two evil nations that murdered many people and many of them couldn’t even defend themselves. God gave the Pharaoh of Egypt plenty of warnings before He unleashed the plagues upon them. It wasn’t until the tenth plague that the Pharaoh gave in and let the people go, but that didn’t stop him either, he went after them and lost again.

Unfortunately, history does repeat itself and what happened to the Israelites in the Old Testament is going to happen to the United States and England for rebelling against God. These two nations are sister nations of Israel. God blessed these two nations with prosperity, power and security against their enemies. Those days are long gone past, these two nations are going to pay the price for pushing God aside and becoming corrupt, immoral and lacking in spirituality.

God’s warnings are written in Deuteronomy 28 and Leviticus 26, how God blesses a nation is also written there as well. If you read them, you will see that what is written is unfolding before your very eyes today. The Book of Jeremiah also warns these two nations about inpending doom and destruction. Again, God is patient and He gives us plenty of warnings before He unleashes His wrath upon any nation. He will protect the people that are true to Him regardless of what He does to the nation just like He did in the Old Testament. Who is God? He is our protector.

Using God’s Name In Vain

There are religions that have gone out and still do commit murder in the name of God. God in no way condones this type of activity, as a matter of fact, He has a commandment for this type of activity. It is, “Do not take the Lord your God’s name in vain.” People have been doing this for many years and they justify their actions by claiming that they do it for God. These people do not know what true religion is in the eyes of God.

‘Nobody must imagine that he is religious while he still goes on deceiving himself and not keeping control over his tongue; anyone who does this has the wrong idea of religion. Pure, unspoilt religion in the eyes of God our Father is this: coming to the help of orphans and widows when they need it, and keeping oneself uncontaminated by the world.’ James 1: 26, 27. Help others when they need it, love one another, don’t gossip or speak ill about people. What the world has to offer is only temporary, store up your treasures in heaven, don’t become a slave to the world. Who is God? He is everlasting eternal life.

God’s Only Begotten Son

God loves us so much that He sent His only begotten Son to teach us, suffer for us, sacrifice His life for us, He died on the cross for us, and then was resurrected defeating death. God fulfilled His end of the New Covenant He struck with us. God did this so that we count be in union with Him once again through His Son Jesus Christ. Jesus , if we are willing, will lead us back to God, He will ask God on our behalf to give us the Spirit of Truth to teach us how to grow to spiritual maturity, discern truth, and be in union once again with God.

Jesus teaches us truth and shows us what we need to do to overcome our corrupt flesh so that we can be purified to receive the Spirit of Truth to be with us forever. What a beautiful gift from God and thanks be to Jesus for all He does and has done for us. God, in no way wants us to condemn ourselves to torments that await those who don’t repent. He has done everything possible to give us a way out.

We deceive ourselves into choosing our own fate over the love of God. We choose this passing world and the temporary things that the world has to offer over the beautiful things that God has to offer us. Things like, love, peace, joy, happiness, prosperity and everlasting eternal life. The happiness this world has to offer is only temporary, that is why man has to constantly keep seeking it, working hard for it and trying to escape the misery of the world in their minds to fabricate a place of enjoyment, whether it be a fantasy, a past vacation, memorable moments, etc., etc.

People use many means of escape to forget about their troubles to find that moment of relaxation or happiness that doesn’t last. God can give us freedom from the bondages of this world that last, He doesn’t want us to be miserable, He wants us to be happy because He loves us and He is our Father. Most parents out there want the same thing for their children, they will go to great lengths to give their kids a decent life. Well, this is what God wants to do for us. Who is God? He is our Father.

Man Brings His Own Woes Upon Himself

From sin comes many negative actions that take place whether they are physical, mental or emotional. Pride is the root of all sin and it not only affects us, but others as well. When we let pride or the carnal self dominate our soul and intellect we do things that bring us our own misery. I’ll try to keep this brief because it in itself could be a whole nother article.

God created us and He also gave us instructions on how to avoid living unhealthy, being hateful towards our fellowman, how to keep famine at bay, live in peace without fear from terrorism or invading countries, the problems having a ruler over us (other than one appointed by God) will cause, no corruption, have no crime, no violence, no diseases and no plagues. He promises us that if we follow Him we will live in peace and be blessed with happiness and prosperity.

Problem: Man does not want what God has to offer. Look around the world, look at the condition of the United States and England, not a pretty sight is it? This all brought about by man wanting to do things his way. This is something that usually hurts people’s pride because it is truth, if one wants to escape all the problems of the world and the problems in one’s life, all they have to is turn to God and follow the road He has laid out for us through His Blessed Son Jesus Christ. Who is God? He gives us love that burns like a fire in our soul, the fire of love.

In Pursuit Of Happiness To End The Darkness

In Pursuit Of Happiness To End The Darkness Podcast and Download

Man Will Always Be In Pursuit Of Happiness

In times of hardships and tragedies, usually our first reaction is to start worrying or fear the unknown. Our carnal mind always wants to look at the negative side of our problems and situations. Our minds start to become very imaginative and produce bad thoughts and delusions.

Before I go any further I would just like to state that the flesh and our carnal minds are corrupt. They want the things of the world, the pleasures and everything that is opposite of what God wants for us. For those that are on a spiritual journey, you know the battles that you have with the flesh on a daily basis.

Our imagination can produce some pretty grim outcomes of any hardship that we may be experiencing at the time. We can also latch on to these fabricated thoughts of doom, shut down our well-being and start entering the darkness of worrying.

We have to stop these thoughts quickly before they have a chance to grow. We need to train our minds to switch over to a more positive way of thinking. We can’t predict the outcome of the future and what it holds for us. We just have to keep strong in our faith and believe that God knows what is best for us.

When we accepted Jesus Christ, we were supposed to renounce our life and will and turn it over to God. After all, isn’t this why we sought Jesus Christ to begin with? Wasn’t our lives meaningless, empty and missing something? We certainly don’t know what is best for us or how to manage our lives in a way that meets God’s will.

Jesus said to pick up your cross and follow me. Jesus is the way back to God, He is the Truth, the truth of all that comes from God not man. God is infallible, but man isn’t. We should know that by the many mistakes and bad decisions we make or made in our lives. Jesus is also Life, the way to everlasting life is by knowing truth. Truth will set you free from the bondage’s of this world, Satan’s world.

The flesh is controlled by our pride. Our pride is total rebellion against God. We were born to be rebellious, ready to go after all the things that the world has to offer. We become accustomed to this way of life. We have happy moments along with sad ones. We have good times and bad times. We need to find that in between, Equanimity.

Man is always in pursuit of happiness, but which happiness is man in constant pursuit of? Some are always going after the temporary happiness in the things that the world has to offer like, money, recreational toys, clothes, food, shopping, alcohol/drugs, etc., etc. Some of these things have deadly results or lead to self-destruction.

Some try to work both sides of the fence at the same time, they want what the world has to offer and they also want what God has to offer. We can’t have it both ways, their is no room in God’s Kingdom for two loves. It’s either God or this passing world.

Others have made a deep commitment from their hearts to follow Jesus Christ and do whatever it takes to reach spiritual maturity, to be in union once again with God and be blessed by God with everlasting peace and freedom from the bondage’s of this world. Isaiah 51: 11.

Worries, fears and doubts will always keep us disconnected from God. They are our dark, negative emotions that set us back from becoming mature, spiritual adults. How can we say that we believe (be and live) in God or Jesus Christ if we don’t trust Them?

The scouraging that Jesus went through, He did for us. It is so that He can circumcise our flesh and fine tune our bodily senses so that we have no desire for the things of the world. We have to trust in Jesus as we walk with Him and He will strip us of these negative emotions, created love that causes us to attach our hearts to worldly things and give us true spiritual emotions of light. Positive emotions of compassion and be filled with the uncreated love of God.

Tests and trials can be very hard at times, so hard that we even have thoughts cross our minds like, “Why is God doing this to me?” or “What have I done to deserve this?” or “Is this ever going to end?”, maybe even, ” Does God really love me” or ” I thought I knew God, so Who is God?” Don’t ever think that God has abandoned you because He hasn’t, I know it may seem like that at times, but Trust God and believe that He has everything under control.

Faith is like darkness to the flesh, your soul and your intellect are beginning to dominate your flesh. Your flesh seems to become confused because it doesn’t have control over it’s normal faculties any longer. Follow Jesus on a daily basis and He will lead you into the light and away from the darkness of the flesh.

What are Your Christian Beliefs?

What are Your Christian Beliefs Podcast

Do You Follow Your Christian Beliefs?

Many people will not call on Jesus, but you know having found Jesus is a beautiful thing. Your life seems to have meaning. You’ve seem to have found something that brings you great joy and happiness. If you were coping with loneliness, then you know now, to overcome loneliness it takes Jesus Christ to fill your heart with His Love. Praise the Lord.

Anyone that has accepted Jesus into their heart is considered to be a follower of Jesus Christ. So, when anyone asks you, “Are you a Christian?”, certainly you’re going to reply “Yes, I am” because of your Christian beliefs. Now there is a big responsibility in calling yourself a Christian.

One needs to know that in calling yourself a Christian, you are representing the ministry that Jesus started. Not any of the churches that exist, but the ministry of Jesus Christ. The danger of this is, is that by not living up to the standards of what Jesus laid out for us to follow, we could very well bring God into contempt.

People are going to be people, and if they see the opportunity to make themselves feel good about themselves, they will. What it is, is that people like to point fingers. And when it comes to religion, they will convince themselves of things like Christians are a bunch of hypocrites, Christian beliefs conflict with each other, and why would I want to become one of them or look at the Catholic priests that are molesting little boys. What about the Muslims? Certainly they’re not all terrorists, yet have one come around and people begin to judge them without even getting to know them. Understand what I’m trying to get at. People love dirty laundry.

It seems that the worse it is, the better for them. I’m definitely not denying that I haven’t been there myself pointing fingers. It seems like we need to do this, so that we can feel a little better about ourselves and not have to really see who we really are. We can be quick to judge others, but when it comes to ourselves, forget it. You have to remember that people are always watching you. Not so much as to be in waiting for you to slip up, but your conduct.

If they see a mild mannered, polite, easy going person that is kind and considerate then that’s what they’re going to see. But if they see a rude, nasty, foul mouthed, angry person then that is what they are going to see. It’s not so much as to be concerned about you calling yourself a Christian, but it would be better that they call you a Christian. That is what brings Glory to God.

The best thing that you want people to see in you is the good. No one wants to be considered evil, but who and what you are in God’s eyes is what is really going to matter. Here’s an example: I do a lot of driving everyday at work. I see people with the fish sign on their car. To me they’re advertising the fact that they are a Christian. What gets me is the way they drive. Speeding, cutting people off and so on. Now I’m sure that there’s people that don’t know the Lord yet, saying things like “look at that maniac and he’s supposed to be a Christian?” Whoops, there goes another black eye for God. I just basically want you to see what harm can be done.

We really need to be cautious about how we represent ourselves and express our Christian beliefs. If you want to be humble and someone asks you if you are a Christian, just tell them that your faith is in Jesus Christ, He is our Savior and that you try to follow Him as best as you can, but you are not without fault. Then when you do mess up, no one gets hurt. A Christian is a follower of Christ,a disciple. If you want to see what Jesus requires of one to be a disciple of His, look up these scriptures. Luke 6:46 – 49, Luke 14:26, 27 & 33, John 8:31 -34, John 13:34, 35, John 15:8.

May God Bless You All

Worries Fears Doubts

Worries Fears Doubts Podcast

Overcome the Darkness of Your Worries Fears & Be Happy!

Mark 9: 23 Jesus says, ‘Everything is possible for anyone who has faith.’ Mark 10: 27 Jesus says, ‘For all things are possible with God.’ Worry, fear and doubt: What good can possibly come from these? Yet, we live with them everyday. Do you know that these can damage your mind, body, soul and strength? Do you know that it stops your walk with the Lord? Do you know that as long as worry, fear and doubt exists in your life you cannot be connected to God (you either trust Him or you don’t)?

People have worries fears and doubts about a lot of things: their job, terrorism, death, identity theft, car theft, weather related items, health, etc., etc. The thing is if there is something to worry about or fear or doubt, people will be living it. Is this how God wants you to live your life? Of course not.

Satan does though, look around you and inside you. Is your soul corrupted by this darkness? When you accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Savior did you not put your life into His hands? If you did, then what are worrying about, what do you fear, and why do you doubt? This is Satan’s world, and he wants you to live in his darkness.

Look at the news for instance, we always see bad things on the news, rarely do they show good things, Why? Because they only want bring you down and let you see Satans’ world not Gods. It’s all about darkness and these are just some of the rotten fruits that are constantly being born. It’s sad that people dwell in this realm, a realm of misery. Why doesn’t someone have a news show that shows nothing but the good things that happen everyday? Probably because nobody would watch it or sponsor it.

Everything we do affects other people around us. Most of the time we are not even aware of it or just don’t realize it. The way we effect people is by our way of thinking, the things we say and how we act towards others. We send out positive or negative vibrations. These vibrations touch others in ways we see and don’t see. It’s one way of how love and hate work.

Take for example when you smile at someone, if they accept your smile they’ll smile back and both of you feel the warmth of that smile. Now if someone was to be grumpy towards you, you could accept that bad vibe and be grumpy back or you could block it and overcome it with a smile and a prayer for them.

Worries fears and doubts have a negative impact on your life and others. Fear will cause depression fueled by worry. Happiness and joy cannot exist in this realm. God is all about Hope, Faith and Love. Matthew 11: 28-30, Jesus said, ‘Come to Me, all you who labor and are over burdened, and I will give you rest. Shoulder my yoke and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. Yes My yoke is easy and My burden light.’

In this scripture does Jesus tell us to worry or have fear? Does he tell us to doubt God? No, He tells us to come to Him. Why? Because we are overburdened by the way of the world. Our baggage is full of negative vibrations (darkness). So, if we truly accepted Jesus into our hearts then why do these things exists?

It seems that we started out with faith, did we lose it? Jesus’ burden is LIGHT. All positive, wonderful vibrations of light, and this light is love. The one thing we need to understand is that it’s one or the other: you believe in the Lord or you don’t. You can’t have faith one minute and worries, fears, or doubts the next minute.

Jesus says in Matthew 7: 24-27 ‘Everyone who listens to these words of Mine and ACTS on them will be like a sensible man who built his house on rock. Rain came down, floods rose, gale blew and hurled themselves against that house, and it did not fall: it was founded on rock. But everyone who listens to these words of Mine and does not act on them will be like a stupid man who built his house on sand. Rain came down, flood rose, gales blew and struck that house, and it fell; and what a fall it had!’

The fall: Revelations 21: 8 ‘But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whore mongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, they shall have their portion in the pool burning with fire and brimstone, which is the second death. Note the first two: the fearful and unbelieving. People who know about God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit, but do nothing to prove they believe.

Knowledge is useless unless it is working, same as faith. When you first accepted Jesus and told everyone that you believe in Him and He is your personal SAVIOR, that is a form of faith with works Jesus is talking about. But it can’t stop there. If someone came up to you and said show me your faith so I too might believe in Jesus Christ, what would you be able to show him?

We need to take His yoke and follow Him and He will show us how to fulfill the laws of righteousness and prove the promises of God. Labor for the fruits of the Holy Spirit and clothe yourself in Light. If you think you can be idle and do it your way, then maybe one day Jesus will say to you, ‘It is not those who say to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ who will enter the Kingdom of Heaven, but the person who does the will of My Father in Heaven. When the day comes many will say to Me, “Lord, Lord did we not prophesy in your name, cast out demons in your name, work many miracles in your name? Then I shall tell them to their faces: I have never known you; away from me you evil men! Wow! That is so devastating.

Just going to church and bible study is not going to get us into the Kingdom of God, no we need to have Jesus show us the way. He is the foundation on which we are to build upon. Read 1Corinthians 3: 10-15. So build upon this foundation that will last forever. Turn all your burdens over to the Lord. He knows the best way to handle them. Have faith and trust. This is how we can love God.

There’s a lot about faith in the bible. Read about what happens when people use faith and how God is with them. Also read about what happens when don’t let God help and they try to do it themselves or when they lose the faith. Remember the six day war? God was with them then. But look at Israel today, they lost the faith. With God all things are possible, with man…? So make the Lord your life and give Him yours.

God Bless You and May He Be With You Always

Icons – Who Or What Do You Worship?

Icons – Who Or What Do You Worship? Podcast

Icons or a Graven Image

Deuteronomy 5:7-10 “You shall have no gods except Me”. You shall not make yourself a carved image (icons) or any likeness of anything in heaven above or on earth beneath or in the waters under the earth; you shall not bow down to them or serve them. For I Am the Lord thy God, a jealous God and I punish the fathers’ fault in the sons, the grandsons and the great-grandsons of those who hate me; but I show kindness to thousands, to those who love Me and keep my commandments.

To those who have been taught that Jesus did away with the Old Testament, Matthew 5:17,18, ‘Do not imagine that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets. I have come not to abolish but to complete them. I tell you solemnly, until heaven and earth disappear, not one dot, not one little stroke, shall disappear from the Law until its purpose is achieved.’

Look around and you see all the things that we have made that goes against what God commands us not to do. There are many things or icons that we possess or would like to possess that we worship or adore and also bow down to. Some of these things are in places where we go to worship. Worship: homage or reverence paid to a deity. acts, rites, or ceremonies of worship. adoration or devotion. adore as divine; honor with religious rites. idolize. attend public worship. Deity: god or godess, divine status, quality or nature.

Let’s start with the first commandment: God commands us to worship Him and Him only, so why is it that we pray to people other than God? God has no beginning or no end, He’s infinite. He exists in all that He created. Without God all things would cease to exist. God is the great “I Am…”. When Jesus was asked, ” How do we pray?” Jesus replied,”Our Father…”. I cannot find anywhere where Jesus instructs us to pray to others.

To pray to others for help or whatever the case may be, means you are placing them above God and saying that they can answer your prayer and God can’t. You’re placing God below angels, humans, statues, medals or whatever you are directing your prayer to. This is total disrespect for God because you are turning these items into a god.

John 14:6,’ I am the Way, the Truth and the Life. No one can come to the Father except through Me.’ Now Jesus tells us that we need to go through Him in order to go to God, so why do we try to go to God by other means? There are no other means or ways, Jesus is the Way. God sent Jesus here in the flesh to show us how to purify ourselves so we can return to the way God had intended for us to be when He created us in His own image.

Mary is not the mother of God. Mary gave birth to Jesus in the flesh. Mary was one of God’s elect or chosen ones. God’s elect or chosen ones are people that overcame satan before the world was. God’s chosen ones gave up their free will before they were born in the flesh. God’s chosen ones are people He can trust and He can intervine into their lives whenever He needs them to do something for Him. Isaiah 49:1 Islands, listen to me, pay attention, remotest peoples. God called me before I was born, from my mothers womb He pronounced my name.

Matthew 12: 46-50, He was still speaking to the crowds when His mother and His brothers appeared; they were standing outside and they were anxious to have a word with Him. But to the man that told Him this Jesus replied,’ Who is my mother? Who are my brothers? And stretching out His hand towards His disciples He said,’ Here are My mother and My brothers. Anyone who does the will of my Father in heaven, He is My brother and My sister and mother’.

If we do the will of God then we become one with God in a spiritual union. God is Father and Mother to us. I don’t understand why people just don’t read the word, instead they listen to man and they follow man and mans traditions. We need to follow Jesus. Find the way and walk it, seek the truth in Christ and He will give it to you and you will find life.

In Timothy 2: 4-6 Paul writes this,’ God wants everyone to be saved and reach full knowledge of the Truth. For there is only one God, and there is only one mediator between God and mankind, Himself a man Christ Jesus, who sacrificed Himself as a ransom for them all ‘. One God, one mediator, how much more simpler can it be? I just don’t see where other people are involved in our worship or our prayers, or our salvation, do you?

So, why do people kneel down in front of crosses, crucifixes, statues, paintings and shrines to pray to God? Jesus will show us the way to the cross. We will nail our flesh to the cross and then Jesus will talk to the Father for us as it is written in John 14:15-17,’ If you love Me you will keep My commandments. I shall ask the Father, and He will give you another Advocate to be with you forever, that Spirit of Truth whom the world can never receive since, it neither sees nor knows Him. As long as there are images and other gods in our life, even idols that we are attached to, we may not receive from God the life giving Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Truth.

To fashion items that God has already created is like stealing. God commands us not to make any likeness’ of what He has created. In our way, we have such a thing called a patent, it’s to protect an individual from someone else duplicating or we should say stealing anothers hard work. So, why don’t we honor God’s command? He does have the right to say,” Don’t recreate what I have already created”. And He has every right to punish us for not following His command.

Go out and reproduce someone else’s idea and see if you don’t get sued and maybe even get some jail time. We even start our children out by giving them things like stuffed animals. The child gets attached to it and sometimes becomes their security. A child should feel safe and secure by knowing they can trust their parents and God.

We flood our children with all kinds of idols and images. You might say, “But they’re kids and they’ll grow out of it”. Will they? How about you? We might have grown up but only to different toys and idols.

Inspiration-why do we need certain things to inspire us? Are we so weak that we need religious articles and or music to move us before we can worship God? Do we need a painting or a chunk of wood shaped like a cross, or plaster and paint formed to an image to inspire us? If you look at these items, they are man made. These items cannot bring us closer to God, only retard our spiritual growth.

If God wanted us to use such items as icons, then why did He give us the second commandment? When we paint God or Jesus onto a piece of canvas or on a ceiling in a humanly image, we are bringing them down to our level. This is placing a limit on God and God cannot be limited. God is not in our image, we need to go back to His image through Jesus Christ. God’s love and His creation should be enough to inspire us to worship and glorify Him.

May God Bless You Dearly

Seek The Truth In Jesus Christ and Leave Satan’s World Behind

This is a quote from the article “The Free Will Of Man”, where it says, “Man can choose to do right or wrong, such as, what to eat, how to dress, what to say, where to go, how to live and what or who to worship”.

When one chooses to accept Jesus Christ with their heart, they’re looking to change their life. They new something was missing and now they have found it. Their life suddenly has meaning and they want to follow Jesus and do what it takes to walk with Him. The main thing is to learn how to change one’s life so they can be pleasing to God in His eyes. When we have that one on one relationship with Jesus, He begins to show us what we need to do to overcome sin in our life.

We follow Him down that long and narrow road with our cross on our shoulder seeking truth. Once you reach a certain point in your walk with Jesus, He will, just as He says in John 14: 15 – 17, ‘ If you love me you will keep my commandments. I shall ask the Father, and He shall give you another Advocate to be with you forever, that Spirit of truth whom the world can never receive since it neither sees nor knows Him; but you know Him, because He is with you, He is in you.

This is the transformation from carnal to spiritual. Your spiritual eyes open and suddenly you see the world in a whole new outlook. This is the new creation (one’s true identity) that Paul talks about. You are reborn and now you are a little child ready to grow into a mature, spiritual adult.

Seeing the world through spiritual eyes you know that this is not God’s world or the world that He meant it to be. You see Satan’s world, man’s world, madness, insanity and you realize that this not the reality of God. What one begins to see and know is truth, something that the world cannot see or understand.

The one thing about carnal ( man’s false identity ), is that that is all it sees and knows. It wants to live for the world, by the world and for itself. Man lives as a slave to the world. You could actually call this kind of living “Self-destruction”. Most will never get to know their spiritual side while living in the world.

The carnal self seeks the things of the world which are only temporary. It seeks happiness in the world and the happiness it finds is only temporary. Man has to keep finding ways to amuse himself over and over again, even in his thoughts. He might think back of a vacation he once went on or just daydream about something pleasant. There is no lasting happiness or peace in this world. Aman that is a slave of the world is doomed, it is self-destrustion.

We normally don’t take the things of the world and analize them, for example: Going out to dinner. We like to go out to dinner, but how can we turn this into a bad thing? Let’s say we planned this a couple of days in advance and we’re really looking forward to going out.

So, first of all, what caused you to decide to go out to dinner in the first place? Do you need a little enjoyment? Was it boredom? A T.V. commercial that’s running a special on one of your favorite foods? Could be we hunger for a certain food to please out taste buds? It doesn’t matter what triggered it, but this is what you would call the start of a carnal high being born.

Up until the time you make it to the restaurant, you find yourself thinking about the time you are going to have and the food you are going to eat. Some of us can’t wait to get to the restaurant. One thinks about what they’re going to order and pictures themselves eating the dinner they ordered. Sometimes to the point where you can almost taste the food. As one thinks about these things, it put us in a happy mood.

Finally you make it to the restaurant, you grab a menu and now it is time to make a decision. Oh boy, everything looks so good on here, I wish I could order it all. You place your order and in a little while out comes the dinner that you been thinking about for days. You start to eat and you savor the flavor of every bite. Now your done and you leave the restaurant. While your on the way home your talking to your company about what a great dinner that was. The next day comes and that dinner you had comes to mind and you smile and think about it all over again.

I’m not saying that it is a sin to go out to dinner, but what I am saying is that sin can be born from it. Pride (self) is the mother of all sin. What I gave as an example was is what you call lust. Pride gave birth to lust and lust grew and became self-indulgence. You use this word all the time in commercials and at restaurants, mainly when they advertise a dessert. They say something like, “We have a quadruple chocolate cheese cake, so come and indulge yourself”.

One can lose their sobriety and become drunk with lust in many different ways. This is basically what the bible talks about when they use the words sober and drunk. Sober in other words meaning temperance, moderation. Drunk on the other hand meaning that one over indulged, acquired too much…

Humility is the key to overcoming pride. Pride is when one puts oneself first, this is Satan’s world and man’s world. Humility is when one puts God first, then others and to be honest with you, one that is humble doesn’t usually think about themselves at all.

Jesus is here for us, He wants to help us make that union with God again. But it’s going to take everything we have to fight and overcome ourselves and the darkness that lies within us. Jesus is the Light, the Way, the Truth and Life. It’s up to us to have the desire, the willingness, the courage, the faith and the ability to put our trust in Jesus Christ, Our Savior, Our Big Brother and Our Best Friend. We have to have faith and trust in Him without any worries, fears or doubts. Are you ready to pick up your Cross and follow Him all the way back to God?
