Holy Spirit and Spirits and Ghosts and Angels Podcast

Are Spirits like Ghosts and Angels For Real?

Spirits or ghosts have been around for thousands of years. God mentions a spirit in Genesis 1:2, ‘Now the earth was a formless void, there was darkness over the deep, and God’s spirit hovered over the water.’ Spiritual beings known as “angels” are mentioned in Genesis 3:24, ‘He (God) banished the man, and in front of the garden of Eden He posted the cherubs (angel of the second highest order of the ninefold celestial hierarchy), and the flame of a flashing sword, to guard the way to the tree of life.’

There are many accounts of people, especially children that have seen angels including myself. One night I was lying in bed and after I had finished praying to God, I rolled over on my side to go to sleep. Before I could close my eyes, God’s presence appeared to me in the form of a spirit. The spirit was wearing a light blue robe with His arm stretched out, His hand open with His palm facing upward. On His hand was a cloud and on the cloud stood an angel. The angel turned her head, looked at me and smiled. So, I smiled back and off they went. I said, “Thank you God.” That was awesome that God would do that for me.

There is a well known spirit that is called the Holy Ghost or the Holy Spirit. One night I was laying in bed and I had just finished reading for the night. The light on my end table was on when out of nowhere, a spirit appeared to me. He was an impressive spirit, full of flames of fire that were flat and at the one end they came to a point. They were laid out like scales on a fish. He was also in a bodily form. He was only about three feet away from me, hovering above the floor, and looking right at me.

All I could do was lay there and observe this beautiful spirit in amazement. It wasn’t until about three months later after some hard researching that I discovered that this was the Holy Spirit. I had known that the He was in my soul because I can feel him at times.

This is one scripture that I had found that explained it to me, John 14:15-17, ‘If you love me you will keep my commandments. I (Jesus) shall ask the Father, and He will give you another Advocate to be with you forever, that Spirit of Truth whom the world can never receive since it neither “sees” nor knows Him; but you know Him, because He is with you, He is in you.’ He’s been with me for at least nine years now.

Both of these scriptures have many witnesses:

Luke 3:21,22, ‘Now when all the people had been baptized and while Jesus after His own baptism was at prayer, heaven opened and the Holy Spirit descended on Him in bodily shape, like a dove.’

Acts 2:1-4, ‘When Pentecost day came around, they had all met in one room (Peter the apostle was one), when suddenly they heard what sounded like a powerful wind from heaven, the noise of which filled the entire house in which they were sitting; and something appeared to them that seemed like tongues of fire; these separated and came to rest on the head of each of them. They were all filled with the Holy Spirit.”

I know that He is a true, live spirit because He resides in my soul, He comforts me in my sufferings and He teaches me truth and helps me to discern what is truth. He is also our connection to God.

There are many written accounts from others such as, John of the cross, Theresa of Avila, Thomas Merton, Saint Augustine, Saint Ignatius, John Cassian and many others who have spoken of the same thing.

Spirits or ghosts are for real, they can be pure, clean spirits or dark, evil spirits, but there are many people who don’t believe in God, Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, the bible, ghosts or spirits and angels. They seem to be closed minded and think that people who do believe are brainwashed, need some fantasy to cling to because they don’t have a life, are not living in reality or that the bible is nothing more than a fairy tale.

These people you may never be able to convince because of their closed minded attitude and in many cases are scared of the truth. They may not want to know the truth so they have to keep convincing themselves that it is all a lie by lashing out against those that do believe and/or have witnessed such things. You can go to any religious forum and find many of these people being arrogant and disrespectful.

Open minded people will listen and I tell them that although they may believe what I tell them, they still need to seek the truth for themselves, otherwise they will always be dependent on others for answers which may not always be true.

Be Pleased O God To Deliver Us

Be Pleased O’ God To Deliver Us Podcast

From the Psalms:

“Be Pleased O God To Deliver Us, O Lord Make Haste To Help Us”

This is a nice, little, but powerful prayer. Use this prayer to call on the Lord to help you fast. Like when Satan and his buddies are attacking you. Before you begin to pray, repeat this prayer over and over for a little while, it will help clear your mind of distractions and negative thoughts. Having a clear mind will help us focus on our prayers to God by not having our thoughts wander to and fro. This prayer, repeated as many times as you need, will help send them away.

Satan and his demons are the ruler of the air. They will steer anyone they can in the wrong direction through the power of suggestion, lies, deception and ways that are so clever, you would think that what you are doing is right, when actually it is wrong.

We need to find ways to combat the evil that is in the air and the evil that is all around us. By following Jesus, He will lead us on the path that will bring us to receiving the Spirit of Truth that will help us to discern what is truth so that we will not be deceived by our own thoughts or by suggestions from the evil ones. Be pleased O’ God to deliver us from the evil one.

We need to have faith and trust in God. For He will deliver us from death, as long as we are not rebellious and follow in our sinful ways. It’s up to us to change our ways. Help has always been there waiting for us to ask. There’s really no excuse. We should stop relying on the world and the things of it for our happiness.

There is no lasting happiness that the world can offer you, even if you had all the money you could ever need. Without God, we will always be empty and lonely inside. Only God’s love can fill those voids and bring us true peace, happiness and freedom. The world as well as Satan offer death, but only God can deliver us from death through His blessed Son, Jesus Christ. Jesus will baptise us with Spirit and Fire.

Jesus is waiting on you. He’s ready, are you?

Be Pleased O’ God…

May God Bless You Dearly

True Confessions – Looking Inward Podcast

True Confessions Come From A Contrite Heart

None of us wants to look inward at ourselves and see the bad fruits we have stored up. We like to believe that we are good people. We convince ourselves that because we do not commit criminal acts that we are good people. We also say things like, ” I’m not perfect, I make mistakes”. What’s wrong with us? We convince ourselves that we are good, yet on the other hand we are bad too. Read more

Worries Fears Doubts

Worries Fears Doubts Podcast

Overcome the Darkness of Your Worries Fears & Be Happy!

Mark 9: 23 Jesus says, ‘Everything is possible for anyone who has faith.’ Mark 10: 27 Jesus says, ‘For all things are possible with God.’ Worry, fear and doubt: What good can possibly come from these? Yet, we live with them everyday. Do you know that these can damage your mind, body, soul and strength? Do you know that it stops your walk with the Lord? Do you know that as long as worry, fear and doubt exists in your life you cannot be connected to God (you either trust Him or you don’t)?

People have worries fears and doubts about a lot of things: their job, terrorism, death, identity theft, car theft, weather related items, health, etc., etc. The thing is if there is something to worry about or fear or doubt, people will be living it. Is this how God wants you to live your life? Of course not.

Satan does though, look around you and inside you. Is your soul corrupted by this darkness? When you accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Savior did you not put your life into His hands? If you did, then what are worrying about, what do you fear, and why do you doubt? This is Satan’s world, and he wants you to live in his darkness.

Look at the news for instance, we always see bad things on the news, rarely do they show good things, Why? Because they only want bring you down and let you see Satans’ world not Gods. It’s all about darkness and these are just some of the rotten fruits that are constantly being born. It’s sad that people dwell in this realm, a realm of misery. Why doesn’t someone have a news show that shows nothing but the good things that happen everyday? Probably because nobody would watch it or sponsor it.

Everything we do affects other people around us. Most of the time we are not even aware of it or just don’t realize it. The way we effect people is by our way of thinking, the things we say and how we act towards others. We send out positive or negative vibrations. These vibrations touch others in ways we see and don’t see. It’s one way of how love and hate work.

Take for example when you smile at someone, if they accept your smile they’ll smile back and both of you feel the warmth of that smile. Now if someone was to be grumpy towards you, you could accept that bad vibe and be grumpy back or you could block it and overcome it with a smile and a prayer for them.

Worries fears and doubts have a negative impact on your life and others. Fear will cause depression fueled by worry. Happiness and joy cannot exist in this realm. God is all about Hope, Faith and Love. Matthew 11: 28-30, Jesus said, ‘Come to Me, all you who labor and are over burdened, and I will give you rest. Shoulder my yoke and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. Yes My yoke is easy and My burden light.’

In this scripture does Jesus tell us to worry or have fear? Does he tell us to doubt God? No, He tells us to come to Him. Why? Because we are overburdened by the way of the world. Our baggage is full of negative vibrations (darkness). So, if we truly accepted Jesus into our hearts then why do these things exists?

It seems that we started out with faith, did we lose it? Jesus’ burden is LIGHT. All positive, wonderful vibrations of light, and this light is love. The one thing we need to understand is that it’s one or the other: you believe in the Lord or you don’t. You can’t have faith one minute and worries, fears, or doubts the next minute.

Jesus says in Matthew 7: 24-27 ‘Everyone who listens to these words of Mine and ACTS on them will be like a sensible man who built his house on rock. Rain came down, floods rose, gale blew and hurled themselves against that house, and it did not fall: it was founded on rock. But everyone who listens to these words of Mine and does not act on them will be like a stupid man who built his house on sand. Rain came down, flood rose, gales blew and struck that house, and it fell; and what a fall it had!’

The fall: Revelations 21: 8 ‘But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whore mongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, they shall have their portion in the pool burning with fire and brimstone, which is the second death. Note the first two: the fearful and unbelieving. People who know about God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit, but do nothing to prove they believe.

Knowledge is useless unless it is working, same as faith. When you first accepted Jesus and told everyone that you believe in Him and He is your personal SAVIOR, that is a form of faith with works Jesus is talking about. But it can’t stop there. If someone came up to you and said show me your faith so I too might believe in Jesus Christ, what would you be able to show him?

We need to take His yoke and follow Him and He will show us how to fulfill the laws of righteousness and prove the promises of God. Labor for the fruits of the Holy Spirit and clothe yourself in Light. If you think you can be idle and do it your way, then maybe one day Jesus will say to you, ‘It is not those who say to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ who will enter the Kingdom of Heaven, but the person who does the will of My Father in Heaven. When the day comes many will say to Me, “Lord, Lord did we not prophesy in your name, cast out demons in your name, work many miracles in your name? Then I shall tell them to their faces: I have never known you; away from me you evil men! Wow! That is so devastating.

Just going to church and bible study is not going to get us into the Kingdom of God, no we need to have Jesus show us the way. He is the foundation on which we are to build upon. Read 1Corinthians 3: 10-15. So build upon this foundation that will last forever. Turn all your burdens over to the Lord. He knows the best way to handle them. Have faith and trust. This is how we can love God.

There’s a lot about faith in the bible. Read about what happens when people use faith and how God is with them. Also read about what happens when don’t let God help and they try to do it themselves or when they lose the faith. Remember the six day war? God was with them then. But look at Israel today, they lost the faith. With God all things are possible, with man…? So make the Lord your life and give Him yours.

God Bless You and May He Be With You Always

Icons – Who Or What Do You Worship?

Icons – Who Or What Do You Worship? Podcast

Icons or a Graven Image

Deuteronomy 5:7-10 “You shall have no gods except Me”. You shall not make yourself a carved image (icons) or any likeness of anything in heaven above or on earth beneath or in the waters under the earth; you shall not bow down to them or serve them. For I Am the Lord thy God, a jealous God and I punish the fathers’ fault in the sons, the grandsons and the great-grandsons of those who hate me; but I show kindness to thousands, to those who love Me and keep my commandments.

To those who have been taught that Jesus did away with the Old Testament, Matthew 5:17,18, ‘Do not imagine that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets. I have come not to abolish but to complete them. I tell you solemnly, until heaven and earth disappear, not one dot, not one little stroke, shall disappear from the Law until its purpose is achieved.’

Look around and you see all the things that we have made that goes against what God commands us not to do. There are many things or icons that we possess or would like to possess that we worship or adore and also bow down to. Some of these things are in places where we go to worship. Worship: homage or reverence paid to a deity. acts, rites, or ceremonies of worship. adoration or devotion. adore as divine; honor with religious rites. idolize. attend public worship. Deity: god or godess, divine status, quality or nature.

Let’s start with the first commandment: God commands us to worship Him and Him only, so why is it that we pray to people other than God? God has no beginning or no end, He’s infinite. He exists in all that He created. Without God all things would cease to exist. God is the great “I Am…”. When Jesus was asked, ” How do we pray?” Jesus replied,”Our Father…”. I cannot find anywhere where Jesus instructs us to pray to others.

To pray to others for help or whatever the case may be, means you are placing them above God and saying that they can answer your prayer and God can’t. You’re placing God below angels, humans, statues, medals or whatever you are directing your prayer to. This is total disrespect for God because you are turning these items into a god.

John 14:6,’ I am the Way, the Truth and the Life. No one can come to the Father except through Me.’ Now Jesus tells us that we need to go through Him in order to go to God, so why do we try to go to God by other means? There are no other means or ways, Jesus is the Way. God sent Jesus here in the flesh to show us how to purify ourselves so we can return to the way God had intended for us to be when He created us in His own image.

Mary is not the mother of God. Mary gave birth to Jesus in the flesh. Mary was one of God’s elect or chosen ones. God’s elect or chosen ones are people that overcame satan before the world was. God’s chosen ones gave up their free will before they were born in the flesh. God’s chosen ones are people He can trust and He can intervine into their lives whenever He needs them to do something for Him. Isaiah 49:1 Islands, listen to me, pay attention, remotest peoples. God called me before I was born, from my mothers womb He pronounced my name.

Matthew 12: 46-50, He was still speaking to the crowds when His mother and His brothers appeared; they were standing outside and they were anxious to have a word with Him. But to the man that told Him this Jesus replied,’ Who is my mother? Who are my brothers? And stretching out His hand towards His disciples He said,’ Here are My mother and My brothers. Anyone who does the will of my Father in heaven, He is My brother and My sister and mother’.

If we do the will of God then we become one with God in a spiritual union. God is Father and Mother to us. I don’t understand why people just don’t read the word, instead they listen to man and they follow man and mans traditions. We need to follow Jesus. Find the way and walk it, seek the truth in Christ and He will give it to you and you will find life.

In Timothy 2: 4-6 Paul writes this,’ God wants everyone to be saved and reach full knowledge of the Truth. For there is only one God, and there is only one mediator between God and mankind, Himself a man Christ Jesus, who sacrificed Himself as a ransom for them all ‘. One God, one mediator, how much more simpler can it be? I just don’t see where other people are involved in our worship or our prayers, or our salvation, do you?

So, why do people kneel down in front of crosses, crucifixes, statues, paintings and shrines to pray to God? Jesus will show us the way to the cross. We will nail our flesh to the cross and then Jesus will talk to the Father for us as it is written in John 14:15-17,’ If you love Me you will keep My commandments. I shall ask the Father, and He will give you another Advocate to be with you forever, that Spirit of Truth whom the world can never receive since, it neither sees nor knows Him. As long as there are images and other gods in our life, even idols that we are attached to, we may not receive from God the life giving Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Truth.

To fashion items that God has already created is like stealing. God commands us not to make any likeness’ of what He has created. In our way, we have such a thing called a patent, it’s to protect an individual from someone else duplicating or we should say stealing anothers hard work. So, why don’t we honor God’s command? He does have the right to say,” Don’t recreate what I have already created”. And He has every right to punish us for not following His command.

Go out and reproduce someone else’s idea and see if you don’t get sued and maybe even get some jail time. We even start our children out by giving them things like stuffed animals. The child gets attached to it and sometimes becomes their security. A child should feel safe and secure by knowing they can trust their parents and God.

We flood our children with all kinds of idols and images. You might say, “But they’re kids and they’ll grow out of it”. Will they? How about you? We might have grown up but only to different toys and idols.

Inspiration-why do we need certain things to inspire us? Are we so weak that we need religious articles and or music to move us before we can worship God? Do we need a painting or a chunk of wood shaped like a cross, or plaster and paint formed to an image to inspire us? If you look at these items, they are man made. These items cannot bring us closer to God, only retard our spiritual growth.

If God wanted us to use such items as icons, then why did He give us the second commandment? When we paint God or Jesus onto a piece of canvas or on a ceiling in a humanly image, we are bringing them down to our level. This is placing a limit on God and God cannot be limited. God is not in our image, we need to go back to His image through Jesus Christ. God’s love and His creation should be enough to inspire us to worship and glorify Him.

Truth – Who Is Teaching You?

Truth – Who Is Teaching You? Podcast

Teachers and Preachers – Who Are These People?

There is just way to much to learn that man cannot teach you. People have lots of questions like, “Who is God”, What is “spiritual healing”, “What is communicating with God”, “Why was Jesus crucified”, “Who is the Holy Spirit”, or “What does God look like”? Have you answered questions like these yourself by seeking truth, or does someone answer them for you?

This time period that we are living in, we have to be extra careful. There are many preachers and teachers that do not teach Truth, nor do they know what Truth is. You may think that what they teach and preach is true, but really, how do you know? Can they give you a good reason why you should believe what they teach like, the works of their faith for instance?

How do you know that the Bible is true? Have you proven it by working the scriptures? Why do you believe what you read, or what other people tell you? Could it be because they have a title like, pastor, priest, reverend, a member of the clergy, or teacher? Could be because they are in a building called a “church”, where they teach the Bible and preach sermons. Some pastors have a book that they can take a sermon from which relieves them from having to prepare one.

I have heard some things come out of teachers and preachers mouthes that just totally blew me away. Always seek the truth in what you hear, that way you’re not being led down the wrong path. Jesus always gives you a confirmation (and usually more than one) for what He teaches you. Everyone is responsible for their own salvation. Don’t just listen to people that teach and preach because they tickle your ears and say what you want to hear.

How does one find a place to worship God, to hear Truth and fellowship with genuine people that want nothing more than to follow Jesus? A church should be a place of respect to God. A place where you leave the world outside. After all, who can you help by talking about sports, recipes or anything that doesn’t pertain to spirituallity?

The Sanctuary of a church should be made and kept Holy. So much so that God’s presence will always be there. God can be found in silence, not in noise. The Sanctuary should not be a gathering place for chitter-chatter, banquets and other like occassions. There is nothing like the warm feeling of the presence of God.

Unfortunately, many people put their trust and faith in man more than they do in God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. You won’t get to know Jesus by listening to man all the time. Following Jesus and going through tests and trials will build your faith. There are two parts in the parable of the sower that pertain to people who have heard the word, but do nothing with it.

One other thing I’d like to mention and that would be the rapture theory. This is something that was started back in the 1800′s. I have not found anywhere in the Bible that teaches the rapture. If you believe in the rapture, then please read the article called “The Rapture” which is in the right hand column. Seek the truth in God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit, not man. Times are going to get tougher, can your faith handle it, are you prepared?

May God Bless You

Seek The Holy Spirit for Guidance

Seek The Holy Spirit for Guidance Podcast

Preachers and Teachers Need To Be Tested

“Be Careful Of The Wolf in Sheep’s Clothing”

Be very careful these days. There are a lot of nonspiritual preachers out there and ones that speak half truth. You have to remember that many, many preachers were taught by man and not by God, not by Jesus and not by the Holy Spirit.

Preachers need to be tested to see if he/she is worthy to seek spiritual advice from. It’s not enough to have credentials hanging on the wall. They need to be guided by the Holy Spirit and also Faith. One thing you might want to look at is, “What works of faith can they produce?”

Ask yourself this, “Does my church teach confession?” if not, then, “Why not?” I don’t know of any Christian churches that teach confession. All the ones I have attended in New Jersey and Florida haven’t. When I’ve inquired about it, they just seem to want to avoid the subject. I can understand that nobody wants to look inwards at themselves and see the rotten garbage that accumulated over the years.

In James 5: 16 it says, “So confess your sins one to another, and pray for one another, and this will cure you.” ( Read Confession ) So I ask you, “Does your church practice confession?” Could be that they don’t know how. Confession and making amends is a deep cleansing and it is what will lead you to repentance.

One church I started to attend, I spent almost a month observing and listening to the preacher before I had a one on one meeting with him. I enjoy talking with people about the Lord, but anyway I was trying to figure out how spiritual he was. Well, the Lord showed me.

One night I was in my bedroom sitting in a chair contemplating on the Lord when the Holy Spirit took me into a gaze and showed me a vision. I saw complete darkness, and in the darkness was this preacher nailed to a cross. The cross was spinning slowly, and every time I saw the preachers face, it was full of horror. His mouth was opened what seemed like three times bigger than normal.

Over the few years of attending this church, the Lord also gave me confirmations that this was not the man to be seeking spiritual advice from. As a matter of fact, I thought I was going to pass out from some the teachings that he spoke.

I called on Jesus just over 20 years ago. I have never been taught by man, only by God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. I could never put something so important as my salvation in the hands of any man. I trust God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit only. When you pray, pray for two things, Love and the gift of discernment.

Growing Spiritually

Growing Spiritually Podcast

Face Life Growing Spiritually One Day At A Time With God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit

After following Jesus and working on yourself, you should have gained a lot of knowledge about yourself. Such things as the way you think and act, how you treat people and the way you treat them. You should have learned a great deal about sin, like pride, greed, envy, sloth, impatience, jealousy, anger and gluttony. One should have gained a lot of humility as one looked deep within their self and saw what a wretch they really are. We’re not perfect, but we sure can work towards spiritual perfection.

We Have to be Growing Spiritually on a Daily Basis

We can’t learn everything about ourselves overnight, it takes time. We need to take our life and live it one moment at a time. Each moment of thought could lead you in one direction or the other. It’s your choice whether to abandon that thought because it is leading you into darkness or make your thoughts productive in producing good fruits. It takes time to change oneself and we need to do this a little bit at a time, patiently, but not in a way where one would procrastinate.

This is what Jesus says about not keeping constant guard on ones house, ‘When an unclean spirit goes out of a man it wanders through waterless country looking for a place to rest, and cannot find one. Then it says,” I will return to the home I came from”. But on arrival, finding it unoccupied, swept and tidied, it then goes off and collects seven other spirits more evil than itself, and they go in and set up house there, so that the man ends up by being worse than he was before. This is what will happen to this evil generation.’

The Road to Growing Spiritually

The journey is a long, lonely and laborous road. People are going to have a hard time trying to understand the spiritual awakening that took place in you. Your life has changed and it’s not easy to explain what happened. Even if you could, they wouldn’t be able to understand. So don’t let it get you down, have faith, the Lord is in control and He will help you through it.

One has to experience the walk with the Lord, as well as faith in order to be able to see and understand. Don’t ever be too hasty to push your experiences on to others. They may not be ready yet. It is OK to talk to people about the Lord, just don’t be overbearing. Remember always, that you are on your own road and you can’t put others on your road, they have to travel their own road, by themself with Jesus as their guide.

You will experience spiritual dry periods, just hang in there and keep the faith. God is not all about feelings. Don’t get hung up on the good feelings you get, some are spiritual and pure, while others come from pride. Be very, very, very careful of pride, it could lead you in the wrong direction. Welcome suffering and tests and trials, they’ll make you stronger.

Things are not always going to go YOUR way, they’re not supposed to. Why? Because they’re going to go God’s way, the way He has it planned out for you. Remember, you denounced your life and you agreed to do it His way. You can take your will back, God’s not going to stop you, He’s just going to let you see what happens when you want to do it your way.

Help out others whenever you can. Don’t expect even a thank you in return. Give thanks to God for putting you in a position to help your brothers and sisters out. This is how people see a true Christian in action. 2 Corinthians 9:7 ‘ Each one should give what he has decided in his own mind, not grudgingly or because he is made to, for God loves a cheerful giver.’ Some people use this scripture to try to make you feel guilty and extract money from you. This scripture is about giving from the heart, all sorts of giving, not just money.

If you get a little disturbed or riled because someone asks you for help or you feel that you have to help or even have to give money, then it’s not coming from the heart and what you would be doing would be in vain. So when you give, give from the heart and you will be storing up treasures in heaven. Practice everything you’ve learned on a daily basis because growing spiritually takes a lot of effort and work, but it has its rewards. Pray constantly, it’ll help keep your mind from wandering.

God Bless You All
