The United States A Dying Nation

Man Seems To Corrupt Whatever Is Good

The United States is in great turmoil and many people can’t even see it. They just go about living their lives like nothing is wrong. There is a lot more coming in the near future that we have to prepare ourselves for. If we don’t do God’s will, then we will have to go through these times of tribulation without the protection of God.

The United States and England are going to fall, there’s no stopping it because people do not want to let go of their immoral ways. If everyone in these nations would turn back to God and adhere to His ways, He will protect us and bless us once again. These nations are too far gone to turn around by people alone it is going to take God’s hand to do it for us, but we have to be willing to accept Him once again.

What is going to happen to the United States and England is definetly going to be one for the books. If you read in the Old Testament about what happened to Jerusalem then you will see what is going to happen to these two rebellious nations and it’s probably going to be much worse.

There is still time to seek protection in God, but don’t wait before it’s too late. He even writes in the Old Testament how He protects those that are His. It is also documented in the New Testament in Revelation. It called the seal of the Holy Spirit and it is placed there so that all the curses that God is going to unleash upon these nations will not affect those that have this seal. If you want to read about the seal, it is located in the Old Testament in a few places such as, Deuteronomy 6:6-8, Ezekiel and so on.

Jesus Christ can lead you back to God and also teach you truth. Save yourself and seek protection in the arms of God and don’t put your trust in man to save you, Trust God, He is for real. God Bless You

Gods Will For Us

Gods Will For Us Podcast

Gods Will and How Do We Know What it Is?

Revelation 20: 13-15, ‘And the sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and hell gave up their dead that were in them; and they were judged every one according to their works. And hell and death were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life, was cast into the lake of fire.’

Revelation 21: 8, ‘But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, they shall have their portion in the lake burning with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.’

Gods Will is not Such a Bad Choice

There will be no world to live in like the one we live in now. We have free will in this world to live our life the way WE WANT to live it. Here is where we decide where we want to live after death of the flesh. It’s pretty simple, he who chooses God’s will, will find life, those that chose the world will find death. Nothing complicated about that. Some do accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and continue to live a worldly life, not fulfilling the laws of righteousness and proving the promises of God. Also, it would be a shame if Jesus’ life, death and resurrection happened in vain for any one of us.

We can’t live on both sides of the fence at the same time, although many try and even convince themselves that it’s OK. Read the parable of the sower – Matthew 13: 18-23. People have a tendency to become relaxed in their walk with the Lord. In order to reach the place where God’s will becomes ours, we need to first follow Jesus. Jesus says in John 14:6 ‘ I am the Way, the Truth and the Life. No one can come to the Father except through me.’ Jesus will show us and teach us what we need to do step by step.

No one, not any man can lead you to God. Jesus tells us to pick up our cross and follow Him. He also tells us to renounce our self, which means to give up our life, the worldly life – Luke 9: 23. In John 8: 12 Jesus says, ‘I am the Light of the world; anyone who follows me will not be walking in the dark; he will have the Light of Life.’ Jesus tells us to pick up our cross daily. That is so that we can nail our flesh to it. As Paul writes in Galatians 5: 24, ‘ You cannot belong to Christ Jesus unless you crucify all self-indulgent passions and desires.’ So why is it that so many people hear but refuse to listen?

Read what Jesus says in Revelation 3: 18-21, ‘I warn you, buy from me the gold that has been tested in the fire to make you really rich, and white robes to clothe you and cover your shameful nakedness, and eye ointment to put on your eyes so that you are able to see. I am the one who reproves and disciplines all those He loves: so repent in real earnest. Look, I am standing at the door, knocking. If one of you hears Me calling and opens the door, I will come in to share his meal, side by side with him. Those who prove victorious I will allow to share My throne, just as I was victorious Myself, and took my place with my Father on His throne.’

There are many scriptures in the bible where Jesus mentions what it takes to be a disciple of His, Read Them! Jesus has white robes that have been washed in His precious life giving blood for us to put on, but first we need to purify ourselves from sin so that we don’t stain the white robes. We need to overcome the flesh and let Jesus circumcise our flesh of all that is corrupt. Then we can go to the Father as a child, immature spiritually and ready to be taught and receive spiritual things that will make us grow to mature spiritual adults and become one with God. Gods will is much better than our will.

Don’t die with sin, overcome by letting Jesus show you the way. Don’t enter heaven through the back door naked and in shame. Pray hard, be patient and show Jesus how strong your desire is and your willingness to want to overcome and find out what Gods will is for you.

May God Bless You Always With His Love

In Pursuit Of Happiness To End The Darkness

In Pursuit Of Happiness To End The Darkness Podcast and Download

Man Will Always Be In Pursuit Of Happiness

In times of hardships and tragedies, usually our first reaction is to start worrying or fear the unknown. Our carnal mind always wants to look at the negative side of our problems and situations. Our minds start to become very imaginative and produce bad thoughts and delusions.

Before I go any further I would just like to state that the flesh and our carnal minds are corrupt. They want the things of the world, the pleasures and everything that is opposite of what God wants for us. For those that are on a spiritual journey, you know the battles that you have with the flesh on a daily basis.

Our imagination can produce some pretty grim outcomes of any hardship that we may be experiencing at the time. We can also latch on to these fabricated thoughts of doom, shut down our well-being and start entering the darkness of worrying.

We have to stop these thoughts quickly before they have a chance to grow. We need to train our minds to switch over to a more positive way of thinking. We can’t predict the outcome of the future and what it holds for us. We just have to keep strong in our faith and believe that God knows what is best for us.

When we accepted Jesus Christ, we were supposed to renounce our life and will and turn it over to God. After all, isn’t this why we sought Jesus Christ to begin with? Wasn’t our lives meaningless, empty and missing something? We certainly don’t know what is best for us or how to manage our lives in a way that meets God’s will.

Jesus said to pick up your cross and follow me. Jesus is the way back to God, He is the Truth, the truth of all that comes from God not man. God is infallible, but man isn’t. We should know that by the many mistakes and bad decisions we make or made in our lives. Jesus is also Life, the way to everlasting life is by knowing truth. Truth will set you free from the bondage’s of this world, Satan’s world.

The flesh is controlled by our pride. Our pride is total rebellion against God. We were born to be rebellious, ready to go after all the things that the world has to offer. We become accustomed to this way of life. We have happy moments along with sad ones. We have good times and bad times. We need to find that in between, Equanimity.

Man is always in pursuit of happiness, but which happiness is man in constant pursuit of? Some are always going after the temporary happiness in the things that the world has to offer like, money, recreational toys, clothes, food, shopping, alcohol/drugs, etc., etc. Some of these things have deadly results or lead to self-destruction.

Some try to work both sides of the fence at the same time, they want what the world has to offer and they also want what God has to offer. We can’t have it both ways, their is no room in God’s Kingdom for two loves. It’s either God or this passing world.

Others have made a deep commitment from their hearts to follow Jesus Christ and do whatever it takes to reach spiritual maturity, to be in union once again with God and be blessed by God with everlasting peace and freedom from the bondage’s of this world. Isaiah 51: 11.

Worries, fears and doubts will always keep us disconnected from God. They are our dark, negative emotions that set us back from becoming mature, spiritual adults. How can we say that we believe (be and live) in God or Jesus Christ if we don’t trust Them?

The scouraging that Jesus went through, He did for us. It is so that He can circumcise our flesh and fine tune our bodily senses so that we have no desire for the things of the world. We have to trust in Jesus as we walk with Him and He will strip us of these negative emotions, created love that causes us to attach our hearts to worldly things and give us true spiritual emotions of light. Positive emotions of compassion and be filled with the uncreated love of God.

Tests and trials can be very hard at times, so hard that we even have thoughts cross our minds like, “Why is God doing this to me?” or “What have I done to deserve this?” or “Is this ever going to end?”, maybe even, ” Does God really love me” or ” I thought I knew God, so Who is God?” Don’t ever think that God has abandoned you because He hasn’t, I know it may seem like that at times, but Trust God and believe that He has everything under control.

Faith is like darkness to the flesh, your soul and your intellect are beginning to dominate your flesh. Your flesh seems to become confused because it doesn’t have control over it’s normal faculties any longer. Follow Jesus on a daily basis and He will lead you into the light and away from the darkness of the flesh.

Cleanse Yourself and Grow Spiritually

Are You Spiritually Dehydrated? – Read These Spiritual Disciplines

These 12 ways will help you to cleanse yourself and grow spiritually. Jesus will help you to do each one of these, so make sure you pray to Him and ask Him for guidance. If you should have any questions about any of these spiritual disciplines, please don’t hesitate to contact me at: thetruth@itrustgodonly.com – in the subject line please put “12 Ways”.
Thank you. (Click On The Title To Go To That Page)

1. Powerless Over Ourselves – Read More…
“How Can I Be Powerless Over Myself?” Our ways are different than God’s way. We are governed by our pride. We want things that will please our bodies and make our lives pleasant. We want the things of the world. This is our human nature, it’s the way our minds work.

2. Sanity or Insanity? – Read More…
Most of us like to think we are sane people right? We don’t act bizarre or we’re not in an institution, so we must be sane, right? Wrong. There’s a kind of insanity that, as we look through our carnal eyes we just don’t see. We usually look at insanity as people who lost touch with reality.

3. Your Will and Your Life – Read More…
You Did Accept Jesus As Your Personal Savior? When we accepted Jesus as our personal Savior, did we not do this to save ourselves from damnation? Some of us chose Jesus because our life was a mess from trying to live it our way.

4. Take An Inventory Of Ourselves – Read More…
Our Behavior Is Pretty Much Ruled By Our Pride. Our emotions and our actions are of self-will. We want our lives to be in perfect order as WE would like them. We do not care about what others want or need or even if we do, so long as it doesn’t interrupt our way of life, the life WE want.

5. Acknowledge Your Sins – Read More…
Pray For Forgiveness. 1John 1:8,9 – If we say we have no sin in us, we are deceiving ourselves and refusing to admit the truth; but if we acknowledge our sins, then God who is faithful and just will forgive our sins and purify us from everything that is wrong.

6. Remove Character Defects – Read More…
Now that we have taken a look at ourselves by making a list of things we did wrong and told them to another individual, it’s time to work on removing these defects for good. Remember to always talk to Jesus about these things we need removed and let Him help us to overcome these defects.

7. Humility and Pride – Read More…
Humility Is The Opposite Of Pride. Luke 2:7 And she gave birth to a son, her first-born. She wrapped Him in swaddling clothes, and laid Him in a manger because there was no room for them at the inn. This is a true act of humility. God could have provided all the comforts of home for Joseph, Mary and Jesus, but He didn’t.

8. List Of Wrongs – Read More…
Made A List Of Our Wrongs and Any Resentments. When we did something wrong to someone did we do it intentionally or did we do it out of ignorance? Sometimes we aim to harm people and some of the reasons we do this is for personal gain, that we don’t like the individual, or because we like to stir things up between others.

9. Making Amends – Read More…
Make Amends To The People You Have Harmed. Now that you have made your lists, it’s time to make amends. First, you have to understand that sometimes it’s not good to open up old wounds. We don’t want to harm others again, but this doesn’t mean that we’re off the hook from making amends.

10. Daily Evaluation – Read More…
We Need To Evaluate Ourselves Daily. Now that we have made amends, it’s time to keep from doing the same things that we had to make amends for over again. We can do this by overcoming our pride. It begins by the way we think and how we bring into ourselves the actions of others.

11. God’s Will – Read More…
About God’s Will For Us. The bible is a great book, it’s God’s word. It’s full of instructions for us. It has God’s promises that He gives us. Each promise has a stipulation attached to it. God will keep His promise provided we do our part.

12. Growing Spiritually – Read More…
Face Life One Day At A Time With God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. After following Jesus and working the past 11 lessons, one should have gained a lot of knowledge about oneself. Such things as the way you think and act, how you treat people and the way you treat them.

Practice these spiritual disciplines to get closer to God and find peace, happiness and true freedom.
