God Is Love
There are people out there that think God is a cruel God. That just isn’t so. Some like to refer back to the days of Noah and Noah’s Ark, when God flooded the world. Because children had perished in this flood and God did not save them, they say God is a murderer. How can this be? Did not God tell Noah what to do to be spared from the flood? Did not Noah warn the people for many years of a coming flood?
All these people did was laugh at him and mock him. These people failed to take heed to his warning. They were acting foolishly out of their own pride. Many of these people had families, yet they chose not to secure the safety of their family.
Look at it this way, if you came across someone that was building a huge boat in a place that never gets any rain or maybe very little and this boat was being built far away from the closet body of water, would you think that this guy, Noah was a lunatic or would you think that this guy just might be right? What about when they saw him loading two animals, male and female of different kinds onto this huge ship?
So, who’s at fault that even the children perished in the flood? Certainly not God’s. The people had been warned for years and they chose to be ignorant. Noah could not go around and kidnap all the children and put them on board, they would’ve killed him on the spot. These people had plenty of opportunities to save themselves and their children, but they chose not to.
God has been warning people all the way back to Adam and Eve. Some will say that God set them up by putting a forbidden tree in the Garden of Eden and telling them not to partake of this tree. We have to remember that God gave us a “Free Will”, free to chose whatever we want. We have a choice to chose life or death. God does not want to force people to love Him, that wouldn’t be real love.
God loves us so much, so why is it so hard to love Him back? Why do we choose the world with it’s temporary happiness and death over life with God? Our pride seems to stop us from receiving the many blessings that God would bestow upon us if only we would love Him.
Read in the Old Testament about what happened when man fell away from God and God brought curses on them. Did God have a right to do this? Sure He did, after all He gave them the land on which they lived on. He blessed them with prosperity, but man took advantaged of it and became corrupt. It wasn’t like God hadn’t warn them over and over again. Before He gave them a nation, He gave them commandments and laws to live by. You can read about it in Deuteronomy 28 and Leviticus 26, it talks about the blessings and curses that God will bring upon a nation.
History always seems to repeat itself when it comes to God and nations. Man seems to think that he doesn’t need God and that man always has a better plan. I guess man proved to God that man’s plan is better. Just look around at how well things are going these days, massive unemployed, a failed economy that is still on the verge of collapsing, over 1.5 million people losing their homes and still climbing, poverty, violence, murder, abortions, rape, sexual perversion, overcrowded prisons, corrupt and confused government, greedy banks and corporations, people with massive debts, diseases, terror without the terrorism (we don’t even have terrorism and look at the stronghold it has over us) and the list goes on and on.
Look at all the children that are born with birth defects, that are suffering with cancer and other diseases and I suppose that this is God’s fault? When is man ever going to take the blame and put it upon himself for his actions?
God’s plan is about love, it’s about people living in harmony without all the hate and destruction that comes with it. God’s plan is about prosperity, where the crops grow abundantly and people have no wants or needs and suffering is eliminated. So, what is wrong with this plan? Why does man continue to reject God? Man’s suffering and hardships would vanish if only man would put away his pride and humble himself before God.
The United States, do you want your country back? England, do you want your country back? Israel, do you want your land back and never to have to fear your enemies again? All it would take is to call on God and repent. Is that so hard? God can stop the downfall of these nations, but man is too stubborn to turn from his wickedness.
God is being very patient with us, His curses have come upon us slowly, but they are getting stronger. He’s giving us plenty of time to see how we are destroying ourselves, but we are too blind to see. Unfortunately, as history repeats itself, these nations are going to fall and fall hard they will. Just look back into the Old Testament and see what happened to Jerusalem when the people fell away from God.
We are God’s children, He punishes us because He loves us and only wants the best for us. Do you not punish your children when they do wrong? Do you not do this because you love them and want them to grow up doing the right things so they could live a good life?
Turn away from the world and seek protection in the loving arms of God before it’s too late. You can’t say that you haven’t been warned.

Worries – Fears – Doubts
Overcome the Darkness & Be Happy!
Mark 9: 23 Jesus says, ‘Everything is possible for anyone who has faith.’ Mark 10: 27 Jesus says, ‘For all things are possible with God.’ Worry, fear and doubt: What good can possibly come from these? Yet, we live with them everyday. Do you know that these can damage your mind, body, soul and strength? Do you know that it stops your walk with the Lord? Do you know that as long as worry, fear and doubt exists in your life you cannot be connected to God (you either trust Him or you don’t) ?
People have worries, fears and doubts about a lot of things: their job, terrorism, death, identity theft, car theft, weather related items, health, etc., etc. The thing is if there is something to worry about or fear or doubt, people will be living it. Is this how God wants you to live your life? Of course not. Satan does though, look around you and inside you. Is your soul corrupted by this darkness? When you accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Savior did you not put your life into His hands? If you did, then what are worrying about, what do you fear, and why do you doubt? This is Satan’s world, and he wants you to live in his darkness.
Look at the news for instance, we always see bad things on the news, rarely do they show good things, Why? Because they only want bring you down and let you see satans’ world not Gods. It’s all about darkness and these are just some of the rotten fruits that are constantly being born. It’s sad that people dwell in this realm, a realm of misery. Why doesn’t someone have a news show that shows nothing but the good things that happen everyday? Probably because nobody would watch it or sponser it.
Everything we do affects other people around us. Most of the time we are not even aware of it or just don’t realize it. The way we effect people is by our way of thinking, the things we say and how we act towards others. We send out positive or negative vibrations. These vibrations touch others in ways we see and don’t see. It’s one way of how love and hate work. Take for example when you smile at someone, if they accept your smile they’ll smile back and both of you feel the warmth of that smile. Now if someone was to be grumpy towards you, you could accept that bad vibe and be grumpy back or you could block it and overcome it with a smile and a prayer for them.
Worry, fear and doubts have a negative impact on your life and others. Fear will cause depression fueled by worry. Happiness and joy cannot exist in this realm. God is all about Hope, Faith and Love. Matthew 11: 28-30, Jesus said, ‘Come to Me, all you who labor and are over burdened, and I will give you rest. Shoulder my yoke and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. Yes My yoke is easy and My burden light.’ In this scripture does Jesus tell us to worry or have fear? Does he tell us to doubt God? No, He tells us to come to Him. Why? Because we are overburdened by the way of the world. Our baggage is full of negative vibrations (darkness). So, if we truly accepted Jesus into our hearts then why do these things exists?
It seems that we started out with faith, did we lose it? Jesus’ burden is LIGHT. All positive, wonderful vibrations of light, and this light is love. The one thing we need to understand is that it’s one or the other: you believe in the Lord or you don’t. You can’t have faith one minute and worries, fears, or doubts the next minute.
Jesus says in Matthew 7: 24-27 ‘Everyone who listens to these words of Mine and ACTS on them will be like a sensible man who built his house on rock. Rain came down, floods rose, gale blew and hurled themselves against that house, and it did not fall: it was founded on rock. But everyone who listens to these words of Mine and does not act on them will be like a stupid man who built his house on sand. Rain came down, flood rose, gales blew and struck that house, and it fell; and what a fall it had! ‘
The fall: Revelations 21: 8 ‘But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whore mongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, they shall have their portion in the pool burning with fire and brimstone, which is the second death. Note the first two: the fearful and unbelieving. People who know about God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit, but do nothing to prove they believe.
Knowledge is useless unless it is working, same as faith. When you first accepted Jesus and told everyone that you believe in Him and He is your personal SAVIOR, that is a form of faith with works Jesus is talking about. But it can’t stop there. If someone came up to you and said show me your faith so I too might believe in Jesus Christ, what would you be able to show him?
We need to take His yoke and follow Him and He will show us how to fulfill the laws of righteousness and prove the promises of God. Labor for the fruits of the Holy Spirit and clothe yourself in Light. If you think you can be idle and do it your way, then maybe one day Jesus will say to you, ‘It is not those who say to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ who will enter the Kingdom of Heaven, but the person who does the will of My Father in Heaven. When the day comes many will say to Me, “Lord, Lord did we not prophesy in your name, cast out demons in your name, work many miracles in your name? Then I shall tell them to their faces: I have never known you; away from me you evil men! Wow! That is so devastating.
Just going to church and bible study is not going to get us into the Kingdom of God, no we need to have Jesus show us the way. He is the foundation on which we are to build upon. Read 1Corinthians 3: 10-15. So build upon this foundation that will last forever. Turn all your burdens over to the Lord. He knows the best way to handle them. Have faith and trust. This is how we can love God.
There’s a lot about faith in the bible. Read about what happens when people use faith and how God is with them. Also read about what happens when don’t let God help and they try to do it themselves or when they lose the faith. Remember the six day war? God was with them then. But look at Israel today, they lost the faith. With God all things are possible, with man…? So make the Lord your life and give Him yours.
